i'm trying to change the texture filter in 1964 and in project64. when i go to the texture filters tab in project64 or 1964, it says that advanced options are not allowed to be changed. how do i get around this, or can i? the version of 1964 i have is 0.9.9, the version of project64 is 1.6. the option i need to change in the texture filter tab is to turn load hi-res textures if available.

Check the "General Options" tab for an option that may solve your problem.
The emulator Project64 should be using Jabo's Direct3D plugin by default. Your issue specification here possibly illustrates as if you downloaded Project64 from an uncertified source. If I am not mistaken, it is appreciated if you submit a link to that source here.

i'm trying to run Vanit's translation of Sin and Punishment so i have to use Rice's 6.1.1 plug-in. i think i downloaded project64 from emutalk.net (i can't post the direct link apparently because i don't have 15 posts, sorry). i'll see if i can get it from a different site and if that solves the problem.

No, you configure Rice's graphics plugin and uncheck the option that hides advanced settings there, click OK, and reopen the dialoge to see the new options available.
