how to work mame

im a noob and when i downloaded mame rom the this sit i extracted all the files and everything was fine so i went on it and there was no games.:mad3: :mad2:

what i need to know is how do i add games to it:confused: :confused: ?

You have to download games first. On the homepage for coolrom.com, they have Rom files. Under ROM files, click MAME. Download the game of your choice and extract it to the file titled "roms"(This file is wherever you have the MAME located)

You should then be able to start up the MAME, and depending what MAME it is, it will either list what games you have, or you may have to click file load game.

It all depends what type of MAME you have. Just post back if this doesn't work.
