If you want transition effects, you'll stick to Windows Movie Maker. But you shouldn't use Movie Maker until you are done editing the video with another program. It's only useful for optimizing, adding title and other video information, etc. I used to use Jasc Animation Shop, but you can't save with sound in it. That's why you can edit the video with Animation Shop and import the sound in the video while editing it in Windows Movie Maker. Because I use Fraps, I don't do this. Fraps is no video editor; forget about that.

but windows movie maker doesn't work on my pc. i don't know why, everytime I try to import video i get some kind of error or anothe:mad: i have had my pc for years but never used it, when i started using it it wouldn't work. I tried it on friends pc and it worked fine so i know i am using it right, but my pc won't import video to be able to edit. I gone as far to reinstall windows completly and still wouldn't work:mad: thats why i want something else. i would like windows movie maker if it would work! but i think it is messed up on my windows install disc or something. like i said even after reinstall it don't work. thats why i want some names of other programs. the animation shop won't work cause i need sound, and if fraps is no editor then why mention it too me? you'll just confuse me more:confused: thanks for the input though

Limewire is only good for music, any other files are mostly viruses. :nono:

Pizzaman, you can use a program like Fraps to record yourself playing PJ64, it is specifically made for people who want to record their PC game play. http://www.fraps.com/ Then I'm sure you could use Premiere to edit it and add some awesome effects.

I get a lot of stuff from limewire, including programs. I very seldom get viruses and I always scan everything I dl before installing. I also only download something if multiple users are sharing the same file.

Actually no... Ive downloaded tons of programmes and such with it.... without viruses... All you need is a good firewall that detects them instantly....

zonealarm is supposed to be a good one, dont use windows firewall unless you have another source of security

I use Norton FireWall... But it depends on which firewall program you enjoy using...
