I use "Sony ACID Pro 6.0" and "MixMeister". But they are commercial versions. They should fit your needs. But I truly don't know any freeware out there, even if always prefer freeware...

BPM Studio isn't free also... But it is made for live mixing like DJ's do with Vinyls. It's made of 2 MP3 Players close to WinAMP with 2 playlists and stuff.

Like they said, Acid Music and Fruity loops, work.
But you best combination is gonna be Sony Acid Pro 5+ and Sony Sound Forge 8+.
But if you want the Best.. GarageBand on OSX Leopard

Virtual DJ, easiest to use from all of them. No editing, just mixing. Much like real turntables. :)
Get it from Torrents ;) .....
