Dragon Force - have everything required, game just won't load

so i have the bin, the cue, SSF runs properly, but instead of the loading the game after the "sega" logo's, it goes to the main saturn menu. I can also click "start application" button, and it begins to load something, then reverts back to the main saturn screen. I have everything needed to run the game, i can play Shining Force 3 perfectly for example. Any help would be awesome.

Edit : After much configuring i got Dragon Force to work. Now.....i can't save lol. Says there's not enough ram. I deleted all my save games minus a shining force 3 file, and don't know what else to do. Again, any feedback would be excellent. Thanks

not enough ram ?? I think in ssf theres a way to get more memory or even set up a fake cart, Id look into all the options on ssf :D

Default was at 4 mb, didn't work. Set to 1 mb, didn't work. Set to backup ram (unspecified amount), WORKS. Thank you sir. And there was much rejoicing.

rock and roll thats one of my favorite saturn games, if your real familiar with it try the import version dragon force II

Its in japanese but its not too hard to figure out whats what !!
