Great side scroler titles

I bin playin a load of thesse side scroling games on my emulators n i already new a few good games but, i wana no wot others there are. Im lookin for some side scroling games which are coop and preferbly for gens or snes. I already no the metal slug family and a couple on gens (sun set riders, Contra ect) So what are your fav games of this genre? any input greatly apreciated:D

well on the site poweremu.net theres an emulator called crystal system, get it then get crystal of the kings. That is a superb sidescroller.
for snes dkc, megamans, marios of course thats really all i care for on snes. Gens i dontplay all that much so not sure there. Final fight maybe?

yh cheers i agree with u onthe gens the only reson i ever play it is because i had a mega drive when i was younger and so did most of my m8s so its a treat being able to goo back to alll those titles we could never mangage to complete.

Crystal system is only for two games, evolution soccer which sux, and crystal of the kings. u can get crystal of the kings under poweremu.nets mame section, but i recommend getting it from romnation.net due to its faster speeds. Also mame has some really great sidescrollers. One more thing crystal of the kings wont really run in mame thats why u need the crystal system emu.

The Streets of Rage Series is a good action, side scroll, beat um up, game to play. (wow that was long) Golden axe was another fun series.

Don't forget Altered Beast, the first ever megadrive game. Shinobi and Kid Chameleon are pretty good as well if you want something tough to play.

Gens? come on... Really guys.
Get a better emu like FUSIONv3.51 or something thats actually works for all those titles.
By the way i suggest battletoads it a good one also final fight if yo like streets of rage series.

lol I've had no problems with using kgen and genesyst emus in the past. If the game works fine, then I have no complaints with the emulators. Plus those games I mentioned above I had and played all on the sega genesis system so I mean no emulators beats that :).
