in Japan those other had been released the real III was on the nes and V was on the snes...and I think in both cases the first was always on the nes and never the snes

I played 7, 8, 10 and 12, and in my very humble opinion, i felt most emotionally attatched to 7 and 10. I almost (read: did) cried at several points in both 7 and 10, though i think i may have enjoyed 10 a little more.

12 was a brilliant technical achievement and had a very, very strong story, but i never really got into it, it arrived too late in the PS2's life and i was absorbed in the shallow graphical beuty of Microsoft's second green machine.

Oh, wait one second, 10 isn't listed? Disappointing, people seem to shun it because it isn't for an old skool console, but seriously, that game changed my life. It had a revolutionary character upgrading system, a terrific and moving story, brilliant characters, love, hate, conflict...God i want to fire it up again.

That should quell any Debates over which one came out when and on what system and as for me my Favorite is FF7 it was one of the greatest games I have every play(save the ending I played for 110 hours building up getting all the best stuff and then beat Sephiroth in one round not to mention there wasn't much to the ending it just plain sucked) only being beat out by Xenogears,and Chrono Trigger but being followed closely by Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Dragon Quest series and The Lunar Series.

In my opinion FF8 didn't suck it has some of the best music from any of the series(I haven't played 12, 13, and some of the random off-shots) But the main character just wasn't likable Squall Lionheart was an emotionally devoid, cold as ice, little B***H I have never actually finished it both because I lost interest and because my game kept freezing on me and wouldn't let me past. I think that was moving on to disc 3 or 4 I don't remember.

As for the other games FFXI was a piece of S**T and a disgrace to the series first off they should have given you an option of solo-campaigning but nope there was only one class that cloud solo and that was the beastmaster but you couldn't become a beastmaster till like level 10 and second if you are going to make me pay to play a game why in the H*LL should I have to buy the game too, one or the other either make me buy the game and I can play for free or give me the game and make me pay to play.

Now on to FFX-2 The concept is F**KING retarded there is no X-2 that would be FFXI but no you called the online one that now as for the game I haven't beat it but I have played some of it, it is not a bad game at all the combat takes a little getting use to the fact that you have no choice but for it to be LAB so you have to pretty much remember every skill and spell for everyone of your characters and plan every move ahead of time because if you stop to think what you want to do you may end up dieing.

Final Fantasy 3 is pretty good. I Finished it a few times, but definitely not the best. Although its hard to put a 2D game up against a 3D game and compare them. You kind of have to find a common denominator between the two and see witch one is better. Perhaps considering is it was 3 Dimensional or if the 3D game was in 2 Dimensions. But I'm to lazy for that haha.

In my opinion, V (Job System) was the best. Soundtrack was great, fun gameplay, and not too much story *cough*FFVI*cough*, but just enough. That was definately my favorite though... I think it is overlooked because of FFVII :(
