View Full Version : Project 64 help please!!!!

Im tryin to set up the well known n64 emulator project 64. By doing this i obv need to download it. So i do that and then i get the "setup" icon on my desktop wer i saved it to. So naturaly i double clik on this icon but only to recive a load of arse!
"Command Line parimeters
/L Language ID
/v/ pn...ect ect..."

All this pops up in a small error style box in the center of my screen.

Can someone tell me is this normal and if so wtf do i do next?

did u try to re dl it cause the admin updated it cause i was having problems wit then i redl it and it work fine but i never got that error before

i think there was a official site of the project 64 emulator......i don't remember it....i think it was www.pj64.net. try finding the emulator there...is this against the rules??? i don't remember it

im clueless. idk how emulators work. which one should i download for N64, and how do i use the roms with one i download?

I was gonna flame you hardcore for reviving a 2 year old thread, but I guess it's kinda relevent to your question. First, you need an emulator to play the games. Go to the main site, click emulators, then N64. I recommend project64 as stated above. Download and install it. Next pick your Roms. These are the actual games. Download them to your ROM folder in the Project64 folder. If theyre ESA protected, it won't let you. Once you get the emu and roms, open the emu and click File, Open Rom, find your Rom, and there you go. Remember; to save and load you have to click System then Save State, to load click restore.

Other than that just read stickys or post again.

I have a problem i have got and x box ( not the 360 im to poor and cheap to buy one just yet ) and when i biught it it came with a chip and a second dash bord and it has a few emulators including progect64 but there are no rom files in the file and i wanted to know who do i get them on there or fined them ?
