Looking for an old game...

I've been searching for an old game I played on the Sega Channel way back when and have turned up nothing in the past 4 hours and it's really bugging me. I'm having a little trouble remembering what it was like, since I was only 5 or 6 at the time, but I'll do my best to describe it.

It's a puzzle game, similar to Collapse where you have to select a gem/block that is touching at least a few others in order to make it, and all the connect pieces, disappear. To win, you have to make sure every piece is gone from the board (I think...). As the pieces disappear an image is uncovered in the background. I think the pictures looked Russian, but there could have been others as well.

No, it's definitely not Columns (which I have 2-3 copies of hidden somewhere).

For some reason I'm thinking that the entire board was already filled at the beginning, and you play it similar to collapse, where you select a piece and all the adjoining pieces disappear. As they disappear, the background image is unveiled.

Again, my memory is a bit hazy since I only remember playing it once or twice, and I was so young at the time.
