epsxe help

I've been playing roms for pretty much the last few years or so, and I'm starting to move out of the older systems.

It was through ROMs that I was able to play Final Fantasy and I want to try the ones for the PS.

That said, I downloaded epsxe 1.7.0 and I extracted it. When I went to open the actual program I get an error saying the Zlib1.dll was not found.

What is this and how do I go about getting it?

Well you have to get a lot of things for a PSX emulator, as for finding Zlib1.dll just google it. I think someone has a PSX emulator ready to go for download on these forums.

Any idea where that's located by any chance? The ready to go emulator that is.

I have found a thread (http://www.coolrom.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8229) which gives a download of a ready to go ePSXE. Although the policies are different now and you can get all system BIOSes in this thread (http://www.coolrom.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8530). Enjoy :D !!!
