There's this program that types everything that you say into a microphone. IDK if its a microsoft program, but thats what it does. Can anyone help me?

I know a girl who has some illness slowly disabling her to use her muscles, it's also slowly disabling vital organs such as her liver, her heart and her brain, eventually it causes her to die :(. I know she's using software like this but I forgot the name of it, I'm free today so I'll pay her a visit and ask her about it :)..
