I played it on sega cd and it was hands down the best non ff rpg. i've got it on gens/gs in linux, but it has crappy mp3 support, so the music is f'd up and the sound lags. I can't wait until the next version, he said he was going to fix that problem.
Anyway, did they change anything in it on the ps1? I never got a chance to play it, and was just curious :)

Most of the music, about half the story, much more in depth story, etc.

I really enjoyed Lunar on the PS1. I didn't even know that it originally came out on the Sega CD until after I had beaten it. I'm not sure on the differences, but the story is really in depth and great and the overall feel of the game is just awesome. Not to mention the much better FMV sequences.

There are a ton of differences, the final dungeon in the ps1 version is different than the sega cd version's, as well as at least 4 new bosses.

Well, I started playing it, and then, right before I went to see the knowledge guy, I foolishly redid my pc so I could dual boot. Now I have to start all over again lol.
Anyway, it's a much better version I think, and I can't wait to get back to where I was. ^^

Lunar is an excellent game, a nice change to the turn based random encounters of the FF series. The psx version includes improved graphics and wicked fmv. the were also lots of changes to the story. classic.
