Games not working properly after I burn the iso onto a disc

Every game I've dl and burned to a disc the game is either super slow and will freeze or it doesn't go at all. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe a better program than the one I'm using? (Im using Poweriso) I did burn a game of my own and that disc worked but not the ones I dl. :( Please help

also burning at the slowest speed is a must.

My console isnt modded, I have this 'Game Enhancer', I think I'll try burning it at the slowest thanks tatsuya

what console are you burning it for? Only sega dreamcast doesn't need a mod chip.

Well that's not entirely true, some versions of the sega saturn could play bootlegs with a type of game enhancer as well as very early ps1 models.

What I meant was that the console doesn't need anything special to run a backup. And most PSX or PS models support backups with game enhancers and I think most PS1 support them as well.

Believe it or not, but the sega cd doesn't have bootleg blocking, but getting a good used sega cd is hard nowadays, i wub mine too much but she's getting old.
