Playing Ps1 with a game pad.

Hello, I just went out and picked up and game pad for the pc to play some of my older play station games. I seem to be having difficulty getting the gamepad to register on the ePSXe. I was hoping if someone could tell me what I might need to do to configure the emulator properly or if I need a new emulator all together.

You might need a mapper like Xpadder. I had a similar problem with my Nintendo 64 emulator and the mapper solved it for the most part.

try selecting a differant controller,and also note,the anolog sticks(from what ives seen) dont work unless the game is analog stick compatible(then just click the button to make the orange light) on any other game,just set the analog stick to the d-pad
