Yes, I am tickled pink that I am playing Breath of Fire III on my computer.
Yes, I am tickled pink that I am playing Valkyrie Profile on my computer.
No, I am not tickled pink that there are [seemingly] random discolorizations, in the form of green, everywhere. One moment, I am fine, the next, half the ground is a transparent green.
I have also noticed that some text-based cutscenes have weird text distortions. Breath of Fire IV for example; the text is a thin black, but it comes up most of the time as a blotchy, thick black, and the picture of the person talking does not even show up; these distortions stay until they have a second screen of dialogue [Textbook lectures.]. Or, the green strikes back in the Menus, and half of the graphics are rendered a transparent green of what it is rendered as. In other words, a green version of the normal rendering.
I would provide screenshots, but I am clueless about how to do so. *sweat drop*
I guess the whole aim of this is... Why is this happening? What can I do to rectify it, whether it be a new BIOS [I am using 'scph1001'; Not entirely sure...], or a new Plugin [Current is PeteOpenGL2.dll], or some other problem.
I do enjoy the emulator, however; they do not make games like they used to, least of all RPGs like they used to.
Another side-question, while I am ahead of myself. Why is a command prompt popping up in the background when I run my game? It is very annoying, because I am a natural multitasker; playing a game and speaking to five people, all at the same time, while reading a walkthrough or fanfic. It gets hard to multitask when a seemingly-useless command prompt is wasting taskbar space, and making it harder/longer to Alt+Tab between screens to do what I do best. If I can do so without worrying about side-effects with the program, how do I suppress this prompt? [EDIT] I should also mention that this command prompt was not showing up, when I first started using ePSXe. Random note, but it might be useful. [\EDIT]
Thank you for your time, and I hope to see answers soon. *thumbs up*
