It appears as someone is trying to crash our forums by attempting to clog up as many connections as possible. I am looking into this issue, and will get it fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Yeah, I got a couple of error messeges. IDK if what I did actually helped, but you guys should try opening another internet window and set it to the forum's index.
Oh and Crazed_dragon wanted to say this. It might be useful as to how long this has been going on:

Hey guys, thanks for all of your concern in this matter. Basically, someone is trying to crash our server by flooding our forums, and making our MySQL database constantly hit the max. I did a little optimization to our MySQL config, so I hope this will help for now.
Embarassing. OK, then, I had a misunderstanding with that last post there. I can't believe I posted that! Hacking is very stereotyped, I know. I know, I know, it's like, why talk about something I don't even know about?
I'll just be deleting that post now....

It just happened. Just now, I was replying to a thread I started about Zip Archives, and the server crashed. I kept refreshing, and eventually, it came back. I checked the Who's Online section, and everybody was logged off except for me and a Guest user. But when I came back again to check his/her IP address, there were three other Guest users, so now I don't know which one is his. His IP Address, the one of the flooder, was one of the following, I think:
Of course, those were the Guest users logged on AFTER the problem expired, so this may be wrong.
- 64.124.85.71
- 192.204.30.5
- 89.100.170.225
Interesting...at the time this happened, I was reading an article on SQL injections! I know the language, but I don't know how to use it to flood websites or anything. Arrr...why can't they just spill it?
Because there's too many people like U who like to play around on the internet. It's good they don't make info like that widely available
....
Was that supposed to be a taunt?Originally Posted by Kameo

Man, I know SQL now, and I'm currently reading how to use it to log in to sites without inputting an username or password, for sites with weak and simplistic security settings (unlike CoolROM.com, made by a software company, vBulletin). But it's having a hard time getting to my head. Maybe it's because I'm busy replying to this site, a diversion of my learning how. Ah, I'll get to it later.
VBulletin boards and those from InVision R the easiest ones to hack, happens lots of times. It's all about having the right scripts and tools....
