Graphic and Audio Problems

I'm using the Nineteen64 emulator and when I load a ROM and start playing the game, the textures will be all over the screen. I've tried ROMs such as Goldeneye: 007, WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF Wrestlemanina 2000, and Super Smash Bros. They all seem to have this problem. Most of the time I cannot see my character or anything around because the environment textures are blocking my view. What is the problem? Also, Mortal Kombat Trilogy freezes at the difficulty selection every time I try. And when the same texture problem happens with Star Fox 64 and the music isn't right either. Can you help me out?

Super Smash Bros. should have no emulation glitches, except for one in particular. I don't experience this with GoldenEye, either. Even the last time I used 1964, I never witnessed this.

So tell me, which graphics plugin are you using? And does your PC meet the emulation requirements?

you're probably using Rice's Dealdus or whatever that is called. Unless you calibrate that video plugin, all the graphics would be over the screen.

Quick fix: go to change plugins and go to video and go to Jabo's video plugin in the drop-down menu.
The graphics will be okay without you having to calibrate the plugin. Make sure it is at least Jabo's 6th one. 8th preferred. Your speakers may be the cause of the audio problem if they are all broken or something. Most likely, though, its your audio plugin. Make sure you have schibo's 1.2 based on UltraHLE. That one is okay. If you don't have these plugins, and you insist on using 1964, DL the latest version and get the newest plugins for it at www.emulator-zone.com You can also use the Project64 1.6 emulator for easier emulation, if you are willing to use it.

Slow down there, CM. You shouldn't get plugins from emulator-zone.com, as if that's even possible to do. FireMage, copy Jabo's Direct3D plugin from Project64's plugin subdirectory to 1964's plugin subdirectory. And THEN you can use the Ctrl+P shortcut to change it from Rice's Daedalus (four-star bad GFX plugin, 1964's default) to Jabo's Direct3D 8. 6 is not necessary. Apply the settings, and you're set.

Why do you always mimick me, like when I said, "Slow down?" Don't download 1964; he already has it. It came with Rice's Daedalus, and it will come with it again. That's probably the plugin causing the problem, so that won't work. Do not get plugins from emulator-zone.com just because they come with emulators. Use NGEmu.com like I said. You're confusing him, so stop. It is guaranteed to NOT have the latest plugins. They don't do that sort of thing. Once again, you are assuming. I know the way these people think. Don't use his 6th GFX plugin. YOU'RE THROWING HIM OFF! He has 1964, and we should teach him how to do this with PJ64.

In this case, the plugins that come with the emulator are okay. 8th is better, so he could get that, too.

1964 does not come with Jabo's 6th plugin. You're ****ing misinforming him and poisoning his mind; leave him alone.

1. For some weird reason, I have Jabo's 6th plug-in in my 1964 folder, but it didn't come with it. weird......

I don't know what kind of setup my N64 emulator package has - but I've never had to mess around with plugins or edit config files. If a game dosn't work with 1 emulator I just set it to run with another.
