Project 64 is easy to use and is known generally as the best.

Yes, I agree with chaos master, Project 64 has the best compatibility as of now.

You can definitely find plugins for GFX Sound and Controller interfaces for Project 64. It's as easy as a Google search for "Project 64 Plugins".

have fun P64 is a great emulator. Some games are not emulated 100% but most are really well EMU'd. If a game doesn't work a plugin will usually fix the problem.

I can say that, though I prefer Project64, some people prefer Nemu64. The best emulator is not a good thing to ask for. Some ROMs work better with different emulators. My preferences of Project64 over Nemu64:

1. Can use plugins other than the ones that come with PJ64. Nemu will only let you change the graphics plugin. I would download a five-star input plugin from http://www.ngemu.com/n64/pj64.php?action=plugins so you can have better control over ROMs in PJ64. This includes using your mouse instead of only the keyboard, though this was a disappointment.
2. Has better help instructions (that is if Nemu even has any real ones).
3. Proper grammar!
4. Displays more ROM information as well as problems the ROM may have with PJ64.

Some ROMs, like The World is not Enough 007 ROM, may work better on Nemu. The reason for that is because Project 64 uses a fourth type of plugin called an RSP plugin. This ROM has a problem with the audio department of this plugin. There is only one RSP plugin out there and it comes with PJ64.

Other ROMs, like Banjo-Tooie, are damaged for some reason. It has core errors. Project64 will tell you about its errors. Unless you are a ROM reprogrammer, reapairing this ROM is out of the question. I personally don't know how to do this, but shouldn't someone tell the admin that the Banjo-Tooie ROM is damaged? I know it says CoolROM won't take responsibility and yadayada, but it's worth a try.
