Hi,
I am trying to play games using Project64, and I have a Logitech Rumblepad 2 connected to the pc. How do I get it to work? I have not been able to control any game, even using the keyboard. No input device I try works for any game I try. Right now, I am trying to play Road Rash 64, but I can't control anything. What am I doing wrong? |

You must Manually Configure the Controller within PJ64. Its quite easy actually.

Right. So, you can't possibly imagine how you could just download an N64 ROM and play it right away without worry? Isn't something missing? How are you going to control the game with just a keyboard? You have to configure your keyboard to be able to control the first game, you should have thought.
To do that, what are the different menus in Project64? There's File...Options...Help...Help is good, but File has nothing to do with keyboards. Oh well, I guess that only leaves Options. Under the Options menu, choose the command Configure Controller Plugin. The keyboard/controller input configuration pops up. Check the "Plugged" option for Controller 1, and be sure to assign keys to the N64 buttons you want to emulate. Click OK. |
