Default Duke3d win ports.

Which one is the best.

I'm not going to use the "high res" pack anytime soon... but is there any easy to use windows port of Duke3d that can netplay nicely?

Which game are you talking about? Did you mean Duke Nukem 64?

Nope, I mean the old DOS game, Duke Nukem 3d for the PC.

There exists several Win32 ports, that make Duke3d run smoothly on newer systems.

Ah, okay. I'll move this to the PC Gaming/Emulation forum so some of the experts there can see this. It may take a long time (from a few hours to a week) for them to log on, see this, and reply, though.

Jf is your best bet. Im not sure about netplay. Someone else will have to help you there. But I do know that JF is the best running version of Duke currently. I did come up with this however:

I like Janofs but I pass on the 3d model packs.

I use them, and think there great. Only improves what was already good.

It may very well be so, but when I used them, loading times did increase significantly, and thus, I do not really prefer them. But they do look cool.

They hardly increased at all for me, so I didn't have much of a problem with it. Load times seemed the same to me.
