Default I'm not getting this at all...

I have a PSX emulator called ePSXe, and I can't seem to get it to work.
For some odd reason, it starts up as if it were going to play a game (I want to use CDs like it should let me, I've also tried CD images) then closes itself a second later.
I have all the needed plugins and files, but I can't get it to work.
Anyone think that they could possibly know the problem?

Independent thinking is hard work and not worth the time.

True beauty lies within. It's why so many people are downright ugly.

Thanks. I'll see if it makes a difference.

Edit: Would Castlevania: SOTN count as a 2D game or a 2D/3D hybrid because of some of the cinematics in the beginning, middle, and end?
Well... here, this is a list of what I'm wanting to play (using the CDs):

-Castlevania: SOTN
-Threads of Fate
-MegaMan X4
-MegaMan Legends 2
-Armored Core
-Armored Core: Master of Arena
-Omega Boost

Sorry for a double post... but the settings and stuff didn't work... =P

Edit: o.o; I didn't notice what version I had. Okay, I'll try the earlier version and see the results.

Edit again: Nope. Didn't work. NOW what should I do?

Ah EPSX. I remember using that. It had problems reading my memory card drivers so I could never save and it never played my music..

I didn't find it that reliable except when I played Tenchu, so I only used it for that. I haven't touched it in a year though..
