Screenshot help

Im tryin to save a screen shot off a game and it does but when i go to paste it doesnt show anything but the words and a black screen am i doing something wrong or is my computer being gay

Well what are you pasting it unto?

i just paste stuff into MS paint, but most emulators has an option under the File or Options or some other menu to just automatically save a screenshot without having to paste it into another program.

As you were not very specific I'd assume you're trying to use the "Print" button for a direct3d game or anything like that. You'll be pleased to hear that your pc isn't the problem. It just doesn't work like that. I suggest you use HyperSnap-DX or SnagIt for taking screenshots off a game.

Yes, that used to happen to my old PC. You may not have the memory to copy the screen to RAM. You will have to use an alternate screen capturing function built into your image editing software. I have Paint Shop Pro, so what I know won't help you there.
