Anyone play Team Fortress Classic MOd for Half-life 1?

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone here plays TFC for half-life 1. I play online quite alot, and while I can hold me own in a half-life deathmatch, The other team ussually mops the floor with my bloody carcass in TFC. I've tried all the different classes, and about the only one I can do damage with is the engineer (thanks to the turret gun) or the scout (I just run like hell for the flag and hope they miss.) While the half-life shotgun is my preferred weapon of choice (you dnot need to aim well, and a double shot to the body or head will take out most anyone) In TFC with the double shotgun, I've hit people three or four times, and I even saw blood splatter, but after they killed me the game displayed stats saying I had inflicted 0 damage on them. I thought they were cheating, but it was a VAC secured server, and they said they weren't cheating.... Anyway, my question is... If you guys, (and girls, Kameo) play TFC, what classes/weapons do you find most effective? Are there any particular servers to saty away from? (IE Rampant cheating like diablo1) Thanks for the help.
